[[Traitor]] is a special status, that is obtained by a player, [[Bots|bot]] or [[Nations|nation]] when they break their [[alliance]], or when they (potentially accidentally) blow up part of an [[ally]]'s territory with a [[nuke]].<br />

The [[traitor]] gives a global 50% reduction to your defense when defending against an attack. This means that the attacker loses 50% less troops during an attack. You will also lose 20% attack speed. The [[traitor]] debuff lasts for 30 seconds. If you are [[Ally|allied]] to a [[traitor]] you can break your [[Ally|alliance]] with them without becoming a [[traitor]] yourself.<br />

This reduction does not only apply to attacks coming from the country you [[Ally|betrayed]], but to every other player/[[Bots|bot]]/[[Nations|nation]] on the map.<br />
