When creating a Singleplayer game or a private lobby, game settings can be changed. This includes the selected Map, Nation difficulty, switching between FFA and Team games and additional game options.
Map
You can choose any one of the available maps, or the Random option.
Bot Difficulty
There are 4 difficulties to select from:
- Relaxed
- Balanced
- Intense
- Impossible
Game Mode
There are 3 game modes to choose from:
- Free for All (FFA)
- Teams
- Special Mix
Options
The Tribes and Nations count can be set in a range from 0 to 400.
The Game Length can be set in minutes, which will change the in game timer to count down instead of counting up, and will end the game as soon as the timer reaches 0, with the player with the most land being crowned the winner.
All of the following options can be toggled:
- Instant Build - All buildings and their upgrades deploy instantly.
- Infinite Gold - All buildings and units cost 0 gold.
- Infinite Troops - The maximum troops for players are set to 1B (though it is displayed as 100M), and players start with 100,000 troops.
- Compact Map - Map dimensions are halved.
